Practice Description:

Jonathan Ash serves as legal counsel to both individuals and businesses, including several Nonprofit Organizations. He has concentrated his practice in general business and litigation matters, including complex legal matters regarding children. As general counsel, Mr. Ash advises clients on matters involving mergers and acquisitions, corporate governance, risk management, employment matters, leasing, and financing. Mr. Ash also represents insurance companies and their insureds on matters involving non-profit social services agencies.

Mr. Ash performs significant work in the areas of estate planning, working closely with clients to understand their goals, and to assist them in creating an individualized estate plan that fits their unique family and business succession objectives. Services provided include legal consultation and preparation of Wills, Revocable Trusts, Irrevocable Trusts, Irrevocable Life Insurance Trusts, Powers of Attorney, Health Care Proxy and other Estate Planning and Tax Planning Strategies. Mr. Ash also provides legal counsel to trustees, personal representatives, executors, administrators, and beneficiaries throughout the probate process.

In addition, Mr. Ash represents individual and business clients in a wide variety of residential and commercial real estate transactions, including purchase and sale agreements, condominium conversions, leasing, and mortgage loans.

Civic Involvement:

Mr. Ash was a volunteer firefighter for 8 years in New Jersey. Currently, he serves as Chairman of the Cemetery Commission in Westford, MA. Mr. Ash serves on the Board of Ambassadors for The Home for Little Wanderers, Inc., and is a mentor to youth that are aging out of social services.
