Brianna L. Audet

As a student attorney, Brianna was accepted into Northeastern’s Prisoners’ Rights Clinic where she represented individuals serving life sentences at parole hearings. Subsequently, as a teaching assistant with the Clinic, Brianna supervised other law students and their parole cases. During her clinic and supervisory work, Brianna went to prisons weekly, spending an average of 10 hours a week face-to-face with clients. This experience allowed her to better understand the criminal justice system, how to communicate with clients, and the sensitivity required when working with incarcerated individuals and their families. At the Middlesex District Attorney’s Office, Brianna worked closely with attorneys to investigate, research and litigate cases of sexual and physical abuse of children. During a 5-week first degree murder trial, Brianna assisted with witness preparation, including expert witnesses, and researched various legal issues.

Brianna enjoys cooking, crocheting, and hiking during autumn in New England.
