Kathryn joined Lawson & Weitzen in 2026 as an Associate with the Corporate Team. Her practice focuses on corporate mergers and acquisitions, internal, external and intergenerational ownership transitions, corporate governance, and licensure. Kathryn is a hardworking, detail-oriented, and personable attorney. She joins Lawson & Weitzen from State Street Bank and Trust Company where she worked for over three years as an Assistant Vice President and Counsel supporting the State Street Markets Foreign Exchange business. She advised on transactional and regulatory matters, negotiated key trading documentation including ISDA Master Agreements and Credit Support Annexes, and partnered with business and control teams to support compliant trading activities. She also provided guidance on regulatory developments and new product initiatives within the derivatives markets. Her experience navigating complex financial transactions, managing risk, and coordinating across stakeholders provides a strong foundation for work representing clients at Lawson & Weitzen.
