On Wednesday April 6, 2022, the Boston Bar Association will be holding a webinar titled: "The Intersection of Civil & Criminal Legal Issues: Exploring the Crossover, Commonalities and Differences of Both Practices." The program will be moderated by Madison F. Bader and panelists include Lauren J. Weitzen.
Participants will learn from experienced, distinguished practitioners about how criminal and civil legal issues are intertwined - how one type of law can turn into the other, and when content from one type of litigation can be used in the other. This program will provide useful information for attorneys in all practice areas. The discussion will include: homicide prosecutions and wrongful death suits, physical crimes and restraining orders, criminal law effects on immigration matters, abuse of conservatorships, and more.
